I will clean up the Welsh in the last panel so it’s a bit more grammatically accurate, but the saying goes if you greet the magpie you can negate the omen.

Peel & cut the onions into small pieces. Pour the treacle over and allow to stand for 48 hours. Then strain & bottle.
