I don't really use an special brushes on the regular but here's one of my favorite sai brushes if anybody is curious. it has a soft edge but still clean, can be used for lineart or softer coloring

Like, take a look at this Soul Calibur 2 art. It's super tight. Very precise and clean. But when you zoom way in, the lineart is actually pretty sketchy!

this one I think isn't as hardcore on the shading so I guess it works better somewhat but the lineart still ....isn't quite right especially on miskaro laying there idk

Like. I feel like I can shade...well-ish. but when I really go ham it seems like it's too much for the lineart. Either it makes the lineart disappear like this (left) or look unmatched (right)
