Decided to speed build this the other day. Building areas could be better I suppose. You can walk around the majority of the room though.

As for my game, I've been continuing to work almost non-stop on it.
There's been good progress on the 3D section, which required a lot more work than first planned to make it look decent.

Decided to take a little different approach to drawing this in a different layer format. It kinda felt less time consuming but it took the same time as usual. lol Just gotta add shodow and light areas and eye detail. 1 hour of magic wand tool then using Fill tool.

@1093factory1 Here are some more views. I worked from scenes in the anime and the blueprints shown in Episode 2. I had trouble figuring out some areas as well. Because all the scenes were hand-drawn, there was no consistency. But I think this is as good as it will get.
I love fish too, but I have no choice but to join #TeamNudi. Their diversity cannot be expressed in any words. I want as many people as possible to know that the sea is full of beautiful SeaSlugs even in shallow areas, don't need scuba equipment.

@Alpharius_lives Finally, I began the process of blocking in areas of the painting, then a "modelling" stage where I refine
the planes and forms, and finally a detail stage, where I add stuff such as the scales and caustic lighting. Very important to look at lots of photos for lighting ref.
Out of all of the areas to be sore from working out, these forearm/elbow spots are the most annoying
Especially since you bend your arms so much in a day (and at night if you sleep in some way) so it deadass takes forever to recover
@tessamag I dont know if I'm too late, but I know I'm lacking in quite a few areas. I need to work on actually making backgrounds, but I'd live to hear whatever advice you have for me.
I mostly work on stickers, so I'm not sure if this fits what you are wanting to critique. Thanks!
updated reference sheet for my main guy! now his hair's a bit less... lopsided in areas but overall still got the same kinda look
