The next thing is hiding/unhiding parts of a mesh. Let's say I want to focus on the face. I'd use CTRL+L after selecting a bit of the face then CTRL+I to invert the selection. Then hit the H-key to hide the rest of the model. Now I only see the face!

Alt+H to unhide everything.

By this point I'd added separate meshes to build the skirt, eyelashes, etc.

The colors here are just materials with Base Color set. Assign them to the appropriate areas. Makes the model "feel" more complete but also visually separates areas of the model. Nice for UVing later.

Minecraft Tylosaurus model. Tylosaurus is a type of mosasaur(a family of marine lizards, not dinosaurs), it could grow up to 13 meters. This is part of an addon called MOSACRAFT, which will be released shortly, for free.
