Spending time on my rendering and proportions. I've been reading comics so I'm slightly influenced by cover artists like Jeehyung Lee and Kael Ngu. Also, I added blonde highlights to Retro Samus; a small reference to the change in her hair color in future games.

Day 207: Spent too much time working out the feet, guess i know what's next on the eternal grind.
I may be having too much fun with the blur tool.
Gonna add highlights and then maybe try to add water/sweat streaks. It won't be easy, but how else do you learn new things?

"full" render for me (at least for a character) ends up something like this:
-full color
- Shadows (optional to be soft or hard),
- highlights (on skin, hair, clothes, etc)
- effects here and there

Background work optional or could be considered separate depending on detail

As example, here I followed Muratas shading and did a soft natural light coming from above-front (ignoring the green effect I'll worry ab later). So I shaded mostly on the sides of her limbs, added blush color to the transition, then highlights around the middle part of her limbs
