I really appreciate the anime's commitment to this. A beautiful visual representation of the childlike admiration that Yamato has for these heroes with stories that seem like they are directly out of a fairy tale. Showcasing exactly what it feels like to be changed by a story.

I think the designs i love the most are those that literally have never changed outside of small tweaks. They're so good, it doesn't need anything else.
Per example, Bespi, the only notable changes outside of the artstyle is the boots and gloves getting a bit more square like.
