So Powerpuff Girls Z is still the best spin-off show. No one will convince me otherwise. Yeah it's obviously different from the original show, but the showrunners obviously knew that going into it (and it helps they consulted the original creator to get a general idea of things).

Powerpuff Girls Z was probably the one that did it the best, because it differenciated itself from the original enough that it felt like it's own thing, like Powerpuff Girls meets Sailor Moon

Yet it never got a US release... but it did give us this amazing art by Yoshinari You

But The Non-Craig McCracken Powerpuff Girls stuff is a definite example of "No one else seems to understand how to do this show right".
