Next is linework! I do this super slowly and honestly take far too long zooming in and adding really subtle line quality changes using the eraser to taper and make shapes more confident.

I would love to dive more into this. Gender and orientation, while diverse in the comic, isn't front & center, so stuff like this (and how Sachiko and Miko got together despite the latter's abusive/phobic mom) ended up subtle. I kinda want to fix this in the "remix" of Part 1

kinda subtle but you can see the per-pixel alpha-based collisions i added a couple weeks ago + some new animations

things still look pretty messy but im finally at a good place to work on art again :3

A little dodge goes a long way! A lot of people swear off dodge because of its overuse in the early days. I get that, but a little can really add to a picture. I used it on her suspenders, eyes, hair, jewelry and other parts. A little adds a nice subtle brightness!
