a little visual development stuff for that comic i was talking about. i don't draw a lot of environments so i figured i'd draw Nala and Simone's bedrooms, or flat in Simone's case.

@EwylanaR I honestly think I’ve improved quite a lot! I’ve still got a long road ahead, buuuut I’ll get there eventually.
Next year I want to focus on diversifying the collection of characters and environments I draw (I especially wanna focus on outdoor environments)

I spent a whole weekend sketching dogs, then painted it from a reference of my friend's housemate dog combined with some beach photos. Not just dogs, I barely do environments, so that was a good try along with light & shadow. ✨

I wanted to do something like those start-of-chapter illustrations some Dragonball chapters have, and practice Toriyama-style environments too. I’m happy with the results, but it sure took a while to figure out!
