I've said it before and I'll say it again, every scene with Kaworu and Shinji is top tier. And the way it reconnects with all the previous entries in the franchise was so so beautiful. The ending is definitely the best part about the movie.

Update on the son:
Surgery went well as far as I know, he's just nauseated after the 2 hours of general anesthesia. They made incisions & reconnected the tendons. Thanks for the best wishes from everyone. Just like everything else we've gone through, it's now time for healing.👍🏽
