Square enix shovelware and farming games

it. Most of the media in question is so low effort, so shovelware, that it drowns out even the gems we do see. Which they do exist for any medium.

To make it not shit, you need to have standards. Put your heart into it, your back into it, so to speak.

Anyways here are some actual good licensed games with actual effort instead of this unfinished shovelware trash https://t.co/YCX9E39KSP

Tbh I don't read much shoujo manga besides random villainess shit lmao

Only notable shoujo I've read/seen that isn't shovelware was Shugo Chara like a decade ago but I didn't finish it (did get pretty far in the anime tho)

kinda sucks it's often blamed as shovelware despite it's very well made

"but there's no challenge!11" man, by that logic harv*st moon games are shovelwares coz they're casual farming sim, geez

also this game's good for OC character design refs

Shoutout to Cleopatra's Fortune on PS1 for it's US boxart trying to hide the anime and as a result looking like a shovelware casino game instead of the actually pretty dope puzzle game

Ediciones Manali (una compañia española de los 80/90 que hacia shovelware) hizo muchos juegos con "parecidos sospechosos" con ciertas películas.

This one got sent to America and was also ported to the GBA in that Famicom Mini series in Japan. Does that mean it's good? Well, it was better than the shovelware, but that's about it.

don't know how I feel about the PS5 being the return of Wii-era shovelware

me: why have I not played so many games other ppl my age consider classics or think everyone played/grew up with

me, remembering my family's always been pretty broke so until I started actively buying my own games at like 16 I mostly played shovelware and whatever was on sale:

We need a shovelware piece of garbage for the 90s block too, so brace yourselves for this one soon.

As I release content into the world I'm often afraid of just producing shovelware. I take time and put effort into creating the pieces I release but I never shake that feeling really. I think that's what took me so long in deciding to do it. Any of you ever feel that way?

Didn't super get into games until my tween / early teenage years so, here are some of the most influential ones. SMS in particular was the first video game I played that was actually good. -every other game I played up until that point was shovelware. 😂
