I saw this ceratopsian with a sail-back and thought I could make it more spinosaurusy. Also I haven’t seen the series but I wanted to contribute because DINOSAURS.

I think we’ve all seen the spoiler image. So here’s the adult version of the Spinoceratops. Strangely enough both the Spinosaurus and Sinoceratops are my favorite dinosaurs in the Jurassic franchise so I’m pretty happy. Season 4 of Camp Cretaceous is shaping up to be pretty wild.

This feels similar to the time I spent weeks on a big Spinosaurus illustration, and released it......only for the Spino eel-tail discovery to drop.

Paleontology is such a fast-moving field, you have to sprint to keep up!

And some work for other studios such as hedgebush, Unhatched gaming, and Fighting fiesta.

Orange dude is Jareko for Fighting Fiesta
Spino is for dinsaur arcade! (Ancient Spinosaurus)
Wing is for whispurrs as a cool accessory!

More Spinosaurus, this individual lost the tip of their snout when young. Still manages to catch prey fine though 😊

The spinosaurus I draw is a mammal-like design with reference to hippopotamus and seals.

Drawing my Spinosaurus with the broken snout in different poses, this pic with the original as reference looks like two henchmen awaiting orders 😂

The nasal crest (along with other skull bones) is also slightly different. Making it even more certain that the pictures I posted yesterday are of the Spinosaurus neotype crest.

A 2020 Spinosaurus press release video showed a skeletal reconstruction (left) that differs slightly from the paper (right). It has some bones that were absent or moved in the final recon. It is obviously inaccurate now. But I'll point out some stuff I noticed in this THREAD

Spinosaurus made its first Jurassic Park appearance in Warpath, the Jurassic Park fighting game.

Then it was the main dinosaur in Jurassic Park III, a film that it survived.

It was going to appear in Fallen Kingdom, but was cut.

And now, 20 years since JP III, it's back.
