From Central European folklore, Krampus is the anti-Santa. Half goat/half demon, with dark fur and a long tongue, it steals away the naughty children in a bag or basket on its back, taking them away to the underworld 😱 Hohoho!

In kijo are female demons. They appear as hideously ugly woman often with sharp horns, long claws, red eyes, wild hair & dressed in rags. These are women who were transformed into monsters due to jealousy, crimes or hatred.

Today it is Krampus day, where I live.
In folklore, Krampus is a horned, figure described as "half-goat, half-demon", who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved! (But this is joey, so he only steals your clams)

I discovered that in slavic vampire folklore, sometimes vampires appear as butterflies or moths. So I drew myself surrounded by cinnabar moths.
