It’s a shame too since some brilliant ideas lay underneath, but sadly what’s on the surface is hard to recommend unless it’s cheap and you’re well versed in jank

It's parts like these where the game's ambitions don't match its budget or time to polish, which is unfortunate. Maybe the expanded sequel fixes this jank.
