One of the rough sketches showed a figure similar to MPO's Null, which led to a rumor among Japanese fans that they tried to make Chico a Gray Fox (since MPO is not canon).

In Hitori Nojima's novel, Nuke is a white cat, but in the picture you get from Wandering Mother Base Soldiers in MGSV:TPP, Nuke is a black cat.

This is a strange phenomenon despite the fact that Out of Order is shared.

小島監督作品の主人公はスナッチャー~MGS1までは30代で、MGS2とMGS3では若返って20代後半になりますが、MGS4~MGSPWでは40歳前後。MGSV:TPPでは50代、DEATH STRNDINGの主人公もサムを演じるノーマン・リーダスが現在51歳なので恐らくその辺り。
MGS2や3の例外はありますが年々を取っているんですよね。
