oh yea heres some chain-drawing progress. draw a strip to define the angle and twist, draw every other chainlink to get the size/spacing down (red), draw the rest of the chains (blue), ham up the perspective, do line art over it. time-intensive, relaxing (kinda)

Despite Yamada Noako being a very talented director I can't help feel really frustrated with her works. All of them are very good but each have just 1 or 2 main issues that hold it back from being great. ASVs undeveloped side cast, Heike and Liz having extreme pacing issues etc.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II (2012)

I think Zexal suffers from bad pacing sometimes and I still prefer every season before, but without doubt it carries just as much heart. Its almost celebratory of Yu-Gi-Oh! as a whole.

The anime does not fall off after 5Ds. This show is good.
