Working on outfit refs and have the base down. Will have hair styles and outfits. Also Saiku doesn't have fur (besides on his tail and ears) its just skin that's yellow with dots for future reference.

I've been obsessed with Avatar Kyoshi since I finished Rise of Kyoshi. Finished Shadows of Kyoshi last week and wanted to paint her!
Still trying to get better with digital painting and so I thought I would try it on a simple pose from reference. It's a bit muddy but I'm happy!

Okay, so, first of all, establish a light source. You can see a light reflection in the eyes coming from the upper right corner, so let's work with that. I like to draw a small sun sometimes as a reference.
Draw the shadows on the opposite side.
