Day 758: No warm ups today, just study. I tried using @/orideizu's blind study method on the profile view, using @/y_o_m_y_o_m's work as a reference. Yomu doesn't draw many profile shots so this is like one of two reference images I can use, but I still learned some useful info!
Day 750: Did a bunch of tweaking to Flare, the old pose just wasn't doing it for me. This feels more natural and in-line with the pose reference. Now it's brain power time though, figuring out how all the lighting and rendering should be split up 😵💫

I wanted to try her again after yesterdays errors, so i tried a pose from scratch and... i think some parts are great, but others i clearly need some more body reference. A good start for feet practice at least.

I personally rarely using a reference for drawing r-18 stuff. Most of my r-18 pose are from memory. But sometime if I found a good pose on my tl, I use it as a reference. This is one of my art with heavy reference.
But, is it really bad for taking a reference?
Tried to draw something without any inspiration, plan, or reference. It didn’t work out. But that’s okay I guess, it happens. I did draw something else earlier so streak is in tact. Focusing on editing a video.
Day 840: watched a video on perfectionism and decided to try out this timed drawing exercise. The goal is 40m/drawing eventuallly, but these results/time aren't so bad even working straight from reference. Maybe i'll do stuff like this on streams too
