I feel like people hold anime to a different standard when it comes what's considered acceptable in designs.

Western shows are loaded with goofy, unrealistic looking characters and no one cares, but when the anime girl's proportions are weird then evryone loses their minds.

It's a really cute and funny show with delightful characters, great animation and music, and a simple yet inspiring story.

It's an anime that feels more western in nature, but it's pulled off so well.
