Some character development from a recent project. Was really trying to figure out how to pose this guy who needed to have a large upper torso but also not feel super imposing in an evil way.

My mind kept wandering back to the Justice League cartoon design of Superman.

In most depictions, Donkey Kong Jr. wears clothing with a "J" on it; this is also how he appears in Super Mario Kart official art. In-game, his torso is almost always obscured by the kart's steering wheel, however, when it is visible, it is revealed to have a "V" on it instead.
