In some cases I think larger pixel art pieces tend to get into that uncanny valley that makes you question why even do pixel art when it's so close to digital painting...
HOWEVER, pixel art is about careful and controlled placement of pixels and I think this showcases it well

In a way it makes me also second guess putting digital paintings on IG since details get lost on it.

In some cases, OC artwork that is more character driven still under-performs there.

So the appeal of fanart is a bit in play too

I watched Turnabout Theatre Case 1 Part 1 and 2 and I freaking loved it the acting was badass the art very good the mystery very interesting everything about it is a solid 10/10 can’t wait for the other cases ^_^ ❤️❤️

I also watched Turnabout Storm and that was so epic too.

Finished my big art sequence with Dog Hunters from Tex Avery "Lucky Ducky" at last. It started like one drawing idea, but evolved into MUCH bigger thing, you see. Not a fan of real bloody painfull gore, but it's a toons, they always got deadly harmed but stay safe in all cases🤷‍♂️

And on character design! Was absolutely solid for its time, and still holds up in most cases! For me, Damien Hellborne (how’d they get away with that-) and Pino come to mind, with the honorable mentions of Yuelia and Noelia, as well as Odin and Olivia! The job classes, as well!
