Though radical, I feel the 98 design could be brought back as Godzilla. I despise the whole “Godzilla subspecies” , and would personally want to see the design come back in future projects because this Godzilla is capable of doing so much unique things traditional Gojis can’t.

To catch everyone up, Takashi Yamazaki is directing a Toho-produced kaiju movie, and the Godzilla App in Japan has announced that they are looking for extras for a crowd scene set in the 1940’s.
