also i use classic sprites for them, but i like to see them with modern design, i cant use these sprites due to difficulty of editing them to do poses (i have to modernize the sega sprites i use as a base, and then start doing what i want, and sometimes its impossible for me)

1: I often begin with a few basic single color tiles to lay out a rough composition of the scene. Then chisel it out, taking turns between creating a new tile and seeing if one i've already made fits.
Tile based GFX editing is as much or more mosaics and carving as it is drawing

Process :
1.) I had my own base sheets (nekkid human sprites), and then "edited" their pose that isn't their limbs (because the limbs are going to move... unless they don't have one, they're separated for easier editing)

You know when a video game's soundtrack is so good that you don't put it as background music in a video because it would be too distracting?

Especially when you're editing and you then stop for a moment to listen to the song because of how hard it's bangin'.
