Re-did some NPCs from an old 5e campaign- Sasha the Necromancer and Larke the monk! It was fun to revisit the designs.
@OhMandaz inspired me to make a bunch of demon ocs based on the trio of stats in her Escape From Hell game (after she made a trio of random encounter NPCs to highlight the stats so I'm just copycat) ANYWAY here is a thread of these fuckos and any random facts I come up with
The system was created with up to 4 speakers in mind, allowing for various scenarios with multiple characters.
I should also point out that this is only for cutscenes, and interactions with NPCs and the environment will be covered by the original system's overhead message boxes.
I sadly have no new art for @matthewmercer's birthday, and it feels a bit lacking to offer only a walk down memory lane, but... the way Matt presents NPCs has long been an inspiration to me, which is probably why I've drawn so many of his...

dnd was one of the main drivers for me wanting to draw humans just so i could draw all my characters ; w ; and now i get to draw all the npcs for my players and it makes me happy
