btw something to note: Laminar is NOT gonna be shaded in this blended way. this look is because I'm studying the lighting and how it shines on the face, but the actual final shading of laminar will be more similar to the hard shapes of this other drawing

My main OC, Gambu in chibi form as WIP. Most of the rendering is shading.

Did this small piece to practice “painting”~! I really wanna improve on my shading and color theory~! I really like how my little sugar fairy came out~ Improving takes time, but I know I’ll get there! ❄️❤️

Dear sonic artists.

Do you have any tips on how to mimick THE sonic art style? Where should I add shading, where should I add the highlights?

Yeap confirmed.
My brain is all over the place and needs a reboot.
Forgot how seemless softer shading can be (and that i REALLY need to work on flatter cell shading :^^^^))))

Bubbly monochromatic sketch (need to do these more lol) of bubblecup teasing a bubble.

Unshaded as well. I used all my brainpower on the stringer, otherwise I would've done more detailed shading.

Art summary 2022

Achieved so much this year, you can really see the improvement in lighting and shading I did this year.

Big thanks to all of my commissioners and supporters, because of you I am able to do this and grow in my art ❤️

Thank you for the opportunity! I doodle silly cute things. If I go serious when drawing, I tend to go fun with colours and shading.

(I do OCs but it's rare... and they're only seen on my IG. This account is just heavy fandom related specifically IDV!)
