i also understand the limitations of translating an animated character, especially from such a stylized production, into live action. grievous doesn't look *the same* but he's unmistakable at a glance. and most importantly, he's a large, menacing robot, and looks good
It's actually a good showcase for how directly translating suit concept art can be difficult, the design was kept almost exactly the same but that kind of perfectly fitted & flexible plating doesn't exist in real life
