Dark cults and ambiguous gods in games, often providing rules and details about fictional religions. Do you have interesting examples? Mine:

- Cathedral Cult in DS3
- Daedric Princes in Elder Scroll
- The Order of Silent Hill
- Robot cult in Nier Automata

An ancient stone podium overlooking a bottomless pit. Of *course* it would attract cultists! Have you got any nasty cults in your world? Please tell me about them!

I’ve worked on a comic book pitch that contains all the good things in life: boarding schools, witch cults, love triangles and homoerotic undertones

In this DragonScape, many of the 1st gen drekir, who were humans from 2018, would create new cults and religions to try and explain what had happened. Most drekir are superstitious and take part in various cults.

Over time, new dialects/creoles will grow from prepulse languages

🦑We have no business calling in such things from outside; only very wicked people & very wicked cults ever try to. Some of it in Wilbur Whateley himself—enough to make a devil & a precocious monster of him & to make his passing out a terrible sight🎨nicolas ferrand🦑#Lovecraft

I hit Publish on a new blog post - this is the one I wrote, then talked to & my wife to be sure it was acceptable for publication.

CW for violence against the young, the old, male, female, etc; also blasphemies, dark cults, and body horror.

Where I grew up, around Mt. Shasta, there were a lot of hippy-dipp cults and such.

People from all over the world would visit Mt. Shasta during eclipses and planetary alignments and things. as its believed to be a sort of "power spot" as well as a gateway to a higher plane.

We've made a few PC-specific bundles, so I feel like it's my duty to let the GMs out there know they're covered too.

We've got downtime destinations, locations, cults, creatures, and even new rules for you to unleash in your games.

Check 'em out!

In this hostile world, courier Avril prefers to go it alone. People are not to be trusted.
But when she finds herself getting hunted by cults and relentless abominations alike, she's forced to team up with a mysterious red-eyed boy, and a stoic mercenary.

Interesting synchronicity yesterday- I couldn’t draw all day then watched a documentary that focused on cargo cults - a term I’ve never come across - then read more (making it last) with the same term used 🤔 so I took it as a sign to do some 😁
