Here's my shot! I did give an eye shine because eyes by nature do that and it makes no sense not to have it. I made his pupils desaturated because I'm assuming the lack of shine was to hint at a lifelessness :)

The yellow and blue on his tentacles depend on his level of aggression; they can get as desaturated as the right pic. His mask was initially green but decided to make it yellow as there is too much colors going on on his palette already. Thanks for coming to my ted talk

The difference in hair color! Lemon, basing off her name (😂) have yellow hair and eyes; the hair’s shadow is warmer and is sorta an orange color. Finn’s hair looks similar for the light part, but the shadow is darker, almost a desaturated yellow/brown, a common coloring of gold.

An art vs ref I did... It took me forever to actually finish this study. From it, I learned I don't tend to gravitate towards saturated colors "naturally" as my colors were more desaturated than the reference.
