on another multiply layer, i pick a bright coral color n paint in the blush then blur it and lower the opacity a lot (like 30% ish). then i add in the highlights using a rlly light yellow color on a normal layer.
then on a multiply layer, i pick a pinkish purple n darken the darkest parts (?) then i turn the opacity down to like 50-60%
@lkutscera @cheekypippa I used the light pen with opacity at 80% and size at 70%. Rosanna's look glowy-er than mine, so I'd be curious what she used.
2. my old main linework/sketching brush that i still use sometimes. it has virtually no line weight control (unless you manually change the brush size) but has good texture + opacity control. it can also be used for colouring unlike the previous brush

@jynxhesper Np! There's 1 more thing I wanna add too, using something like airbrush at a low opacity really helps if you wanna make a color fade into another. Idk if u know what I mean tho cuz I use a different drawing app

I haven't drawn my gothic Total Drama OC in a awhile, Raven Star. I drew her wearing her sleepwear, a see-thru night shirt. It's practice for me to improve on opacity on digital art, tricky but several trail & errors payed off.

@jiadoodles I use a textured kind of hard brush i made myself i actually use it w everything from lineart to highlights & shadows & just by lowering the opacity i can get a nice effect on anything without looking blurry everything is sharp & grainy.I change its size depending where i need it

I did some more experimenting with opacity in this one. It might be hard to see on a blank background, but you'll see it against a picture. Also the axolotl whiskers were hard, but I think they're acceptable
