The story is important in other ways. It’s the first story featuring Kitty as a member of the X-Men; the first large exploration of Nightcrawler’s backstory; and it features artwork by a pair of future X-Men innovators in the form of John Romita Jr and Bob McLeod. 7/8

A ver.
@PunchDrunkKing They are so light, at least when Adam Kubert did it or John Romita Jr. it looked better.
@SpiderWitHyphen These two looks from the John Romita era always stuck with me, so my look for Pete is kind of a mix of the two!
Ok comic book historians. Turn on your Spidey Sense. I need your help. A friend (seriously it’s not me) is desperately trying to find where this classic Spidey image came from. Anyone know? (Probably John Romita art?)
ETERNALS (2006) by Neil Gaiman and John Romita Jr Review! https://t.co/3FMK5cyYR4
John Romita Sr, the dude who Spider-Man's house look is based on, removed Spider-Man's cake, but Spider-Man creator Steve Ditko? He gave Peter Parker cake, undeniably so. Compare Romita and Ditko here, clear distinction.
Jesus CBR. You got the art wrong for JRJR too. This is Dave Seguin. Can’t believe I didn’t catch that. Scrolled past and thought it was this piece BY John Romita Jr. lmao
Top 4 Superhero’s.
Art by Alex Malveda, Tony S. Daniel, John Romita, Joe Jusko
One of my favorite moments in Spider-Man history. Peter defeats Morlun using what truly makes him special: his intelligence, quick thinking, and imperfection. Amazing storytelling by Straczynski and John Romita Jr.
11/27/79: Guest artist Jerry Bingham gives John Romita Jr. a little time off as IRON MAN #131 commences a storyline that begins with the Hulk eating a truckload of fruit on the highway and ends with a post-sober, pre-Hulkbuster Stark jeopardizing his life in fighting Banner.
A very #HappyThanksgiving to all of my wonderful followers and friends!!!
