Writing a chapter on aperiodic tiling I've fallen in love with Penrose tiles all over again. Here are patches of both the kite-and-dart and rhombi versions of the tiles. The markings enforce matching rules.
@GirihApp @HypercubicPeg @RobFathauerArt I try to use crescent 14! It was remodeled to be in tangent with the vertex instead of an edge almost. And it seemed that rhomb tiling at the central area could not be done. Perhaps I just gave up that sometimes #wedgesquiggles do not connect to the exact center as in this case.
@GirihApp @HypercubicPeg Thanks for suggesting! I can be tiling the central area for crescent 9 and 11 by counting the edge of rhomb tiling!! That was a little hard…
