My name’s Azoth, I run a webcomic named Revenant (you can read it on webtoons) and I produce about fully colored 5-7 pages a week. Try goal is to emulate the visuals of a 90s-2000s 2d animated film in appearance.
I found some doodles I did back in 2012 while watching the Tron: Legacy movie. I remember I got super pumped by the soundtrack and visuals so I couldn't help myself and just had to get that energy out somehow. It happens a lot when I'm watching movies or playing video games.
I totally understand forced visuals to make stuff work, but oh my goodness I can no longer un-see this.

That's when I really got in touch with personal experiences that shaped the visuals in my subconsious. I also had a lot of nightmares at the time. The good kind, intensely frightening, but so inspiring once you wake up. (The bad kind are the dull mundane ones.)
