@HatokTalk kinda feels like they designed these characters with previous reference in mind (how characters look in all previous games) and then the art direction not just went the other way but also didn't bother recreating things like what colors the reflections should be.
Art becomes more fun the better you are at it, but you have to exert the effort to do so.
Don't be discouraged to keep creating because your drawings are bad compared to artists you admire.

One of my proudest accomplishments on the GHOUL series was creating these montage spreads. Especially retooling the original image for book 2! They tell the story of the origin of the ghouls, but image two is a distorted false version. @cullenbunn really made me work, haha!
