Kagamimochi is a traditional Japanese New Year's decoration.
The name "Kagamimochi" comes from the fact that the shape of the mochi resembles a mirror.
I take a lot of inspirations, and some of these even are not my usual "style", like Rise of the Guardians or Wolfwalkers... but I really like their visuals and the way they design characters and environments using more geometric shapes. Also... LOOK AT THESE COLORS, gorgerous
To be honest, the most challenging part is designing her head. For the head shape and inner mouth, i took reference from Helicoprion. Notice she also has 'buzzsaw' in the lower jaw. The lower jaw is inspired by Carcharodontosaurid such as this Tyrannotitan.

So i actually went to @Fusion_Apes discord where @BakedOcclusion has an AI machine and I went to work, at first modeling shapes because that seems like something in his portfolio, but they ended up looking like @Ultra_DAO passes...so I moved on... 3/
