the anime is a pretty good adaptation but sadly there are moments like this where they just totally get rid of the amazing composition the manga had,, like look at this comparison of this moment 😭

yeah it kinda just depends. From the experience I have just watching a lot, and a LITTLE hands-on experience trying to make my own things, it helps when the 3D animator knows a LOT about shot composition and doesnt care about breaking the model out-of-view for the sake of the art

One of Oda's best spreads. So incredible detailed. The process video was posted earlier and I'm just consistently in awe with how the man comes up with composition and themes of the colorspreads.

It's out of these 2 for me. The composition is so similar yet so different which really draws me to both. The rim shot on ghostfreak is so consistent through and through. The gradient work on Mirkos background shape if fire too, and makes her pop. Good work!
