3/8: Most often it all started with digital drawing and 3D, then I printed it. I added layers with paints, pencils, crayons, etc. Sometimes I used collage elements.

wanted to incorporate a floral element in each illustration, but idk it was getting a little crowded w/ all the details so they’re on separate layers
i chose white lilies for them bc of the quite clashing meanings, i’ve found they’re associated w/ both marriages and funerals

Managed to decode the animation frames of Talking Ben, almost.

The way I did was to get the bytes from the first frame and pasting it to all the others. Although doing that for 1000+ frames sounds tedious.

Playing it normally in media players results into lots of distortion. :/

I'm continuing to get lessons in digital comic making. Little Tales is a simple gag strip so I keep the format simple. Glory needs masking and layers and things. the end result will be graytoned which is why I use colors that won't actually be present in the comic.

after looking through my layers i realise that the fault lies in my red tinted shadows layer, which has darkened stede’s skin significantly, where i intended him to be much paler compared to ed. ill be mindful of that in future and check before calling it complete!

A simplified version for fun. I really love how powerful digital art is. We can turn layers on and off in an instant to make alternate versions. It reminds me a lot of when I was working with room creation.
