learning about lighting (10/13/22)

Unreal folks, I'm trying to make very subtle, stylized grass. Any ideas how I do that? All my assets have this dark shadow.

I've got two sided planes, even lighting up some backfaces which makes it slightly better, but I want these to be almost imperceptible from the ground.
