Hold on. Which style of outlines look better with my painting? New Is on the left. I personally am leaning heavily into the softer outlines on the left being the play. It's a little messy cause it wasn't planned but you get the idea.

I found an easier approach to my cell shading style where I outline the shading after the fact, instead of before! In any case, now that I've done that thanks to mine gf //thanmk u bby🥰// I will be finishing these way faster!

LRT also works if you just use a tapered pen tool (in any color) and then select the whole layer and add the outline on a different layer! That way you can color the lines separately. used it to make the hair below!

the happy unity is there because i had to do this for an assignment, though i am proud of how it came out. the white outline needs a bit of a fix in some areas.
done in autodesk sketchbook, in around 50 minutes or so.

Want to figure out low quick I could draw a pic. So for me, form nothing, sketch, outline, color and shading. It took 2 hours tops.

seeing how I've been drawing everyday for almost 6 years now. It still surprised me. The hard part was to make it look good.
