I was originally planning on drawing a 30’s cartoon style Isabelle, but I keep getting frustrated trying to do it, so I instead decided to do a style I could really have fun with, which is photonegative, also flipping isabelle’s personality in the process.
recovery is not a straight line. it stops and starts and goes backwards and gets all tangled up in itself. none of that is a failure, it is part of the process.
slowly, i move forward again. i will show myself the patience my friends have so lovingly given me. thank you. 💖

I have't been streaming because I'm having fun on valorant for now, but I'm tryna design an OC that we'll actually keep this time. Here's a sketch of stage 1 of the idea process. (I need to fix all the clothes)
I find it interesting when there are problems in production, because it gives a little insight into the process. It also "illustrates" how rushing can affect the product, like Reed's beard, which looks like it was added late in the process (FNSM #13)
