I always start with a 2D walk cycle. Once I get the animation I like I use the camera trick with layer style stroke to get my isometric angle right (or any angle). After that it's all about getting the details right (frame by frame). #aftereffects

I had a stroke of inspiration around a D&D subclass when I was watching a certain star thief last night, so I created a rogue subclass based on @lumikaneko.
The intent of this one is high speed and light to disorient your foes. Balance may be iffy but I love it.
