So, since you should always follow up on first impressions, I've been playing some more. While I still dont like my character, the world is stunning! Amazing colors, water, weather effects and overall atmosphere - best to date for comparable titles imho. 👍

IMHO it’s more important for me to write for clarity than it is to write for complexity.

My task goes way beyond writing, to communicating. I want ppl to understand & experience my story.

If I don’t convey the characters, emotion, tension, etc. clearly on the page, I’ve failed.

I hadn't looked at Battle Through Time for a long while. (Maybe 20+ years since I tried it.) I'm glad I tried it again this week. It's very well done. IMHO scrolling is a little fast at times, but it plays very very well. 👍
