Last of basic body proportions is done. The next thing the book has is dynamic poses for practice but I think I will go ahead and instead I will focus on doing hands and feet. It's pretty neat though, the book has made drawing the body much more simpler, I just need to practice.

I mainly focused on catching the right proportions, while trying to use a more personal style. I tried a different painting technique (I used the default round brush on procreate), focusing on not overblending the colors

Remember that there is nothing wrong with a simple design. They can be especially strong and stand out if you give it recognizable features. Ex. Hats, Big or strange Hair, Abnormal Body proportions etc. think about recognizable traits to give your design if you keep it simple.
