Thanks so much for running this art share! I’m Kay, I’m an illustrator who likes pretty colours, and expressive eyes and characters. I feel like my work is starting to develop some real cohesiveness these past few months. It’s exciting. 💛

Made fan art of 's characters Jake and Christie

NOTE: I drew Christie's eyes differently so it can be more expressive

We are over the moon to have new works from Derek Fitzpatrick. Derek's deep and expressive brushwork allow you to almost get lost in his canvases. Available to view on https://t.co/4eqTuQwAj1 and here at 17 Duke Street.

the thing i love about bandori is how expressive the art is. it really catches the intensity of the characters' emotions-

Next up, I gave Rebecca a bit of a redesign, as well as gave her more expressive expressions.

This week for our series we're sharing the work of Kevin Rooi (Insta:).

Kevin's style is very expressive and experimental. He has a great talent in filling space within his designs without them looking crowded.

Keep up the amazing work Kevin!

New issue of Casual Archivist! This one's about a series of expressively designed children's learning records from the '60s and '70s, and some musing on the perils of relying on search engines for all your history. https://t.co/NeP45M8yZ3

Debatable. Yuji Uekawa's design got really expressive, and that's on top of having more shading and just more detail and stylization in general. Agree to disagree I guess

People have told me Hesse Sonic's design is more simple because it's designed to be more expressive than detailed, but uh...

Yuji Uekawa design is both more expressive AND more detailed, so Hesse Sonic's overly flat coloration just makes it lesser to me

Made some texturing tweaks to the rig, then distractedly playing around with the face to make expressions... one that asked for last stream (up to her if she posts it) and a few others. I'm baffled by how expressive it already is without really finetuning it :O

i'm watching and i loved how expressive the characters were in the show! and i really wanted to do the same for my comic so I did some with Klaus Dolfos & a turn around sheet as well!

Many of Breitner’s Amsterdam Paintings date from the early 20th C. They show a movement from Impressionism to a more expressive liberal use of paint. Self-portrait, Marie Breitner & Nude with Black Stockings. The latter is a sumptuous use of brushwork
