Tried to give one of the early iterations of this character a striped shirt and I axed that shit so fast lmao, my digital penstroke is not smooth enough to do that quickly and constantly without it looking off

I painted this last year and hadn't thought about it until recently. The black is gouache but all of the anatomy is mechanical pencil. I wanted to mess with the contrast of big sloppy brush strokes next to meticulous meditative hatching and see if I could create harmony. 11x17in
