think I found one I like: Soul of Eden is basically a Clash Royale with hints of Duelyst on its characters (I like the aesthetics better too)

seen zero ads so far, the main UI is not overwhelming and it takes its time to explain things. plus it’s extremely polished!

1.ユニット詳細でジョブ強化素材をタップすると入手可能クエストが表示されます。
そのボタンの右上に虫眼鏡が設置され、そこから獲得できる素材やミッションの★の数もわかるようになります。
