LILO & STITCH is truly wonderful, amusingly weird and more sophisticated than it probably gets credit for. A Hawaii-set sci-fi adventure with a bunch of Elvis Presley songs and some subtle but interesting cultural commentary. The songs by Mark Kealiʻi Hoʻomalu are also great.

my tip is to experiment with different stuff, which you're already doing with your sci-fi stuff.

if you wanna do even more, try doing a realistic portrait, and then taking what you learned into your drawings

(ex. i did a painting and then used those skills in a drawing)
