Tried something a bit different, working the values up from a dark background this time. One of my longer sketches too. But my GOSH, I find Arvis hard to draw. Scribbly though it is, I am satisfied. 😌

I was missing doing Dr. Who related artworks so I did a study of David Tennant's face. Not the biggest win but I got to observe and see loads of new things about his face so that's a plus. 😊

Okay so I really love how this one came out?? I think photographs with really well defined shapes help me grasp the study much better! (not to mention clear contrast)

Tried out this amazing #style2paints on an old lineart. Am actually impressed! Don't know if I will use for commissions but this does help with some of the color values in a piece :D Orig lines at start and orig colors at end.

Value studies from earlier this year 🐝 First two are twenty minutes each, third an hour the fourth I was trying to match the likeness of my reference more, so a few hours. if u struggle with colours, values are your friend
