Small tip when it comes to shading skin w blushing!

Always make sure to airbrush a light opacity orange first before adding the red!! Red makes it too intense, so orange helps it blend in a bit more!!

Depending on the amount of colors in the gradient map, some airbrushed things, i.e. the cheek blush (since it has a LOT of values) might turn into more of a blob!

There are only so many colors in a gradient map to color all the values, you see

The only time the brown eyes appeared off the top of my head previous to this resurgence was some of martins work and genesis era airbrush work

In fact it stopped appearing during the Saturn era too if I recall

Man idk if you’ve noticed or not but in almost all media outside of the airbrush work, Greg martins stuff, and newer content, Sonics eyes have in fact been purely black

The brown eyes thing only appeared in select instances, probably by select artists within the company too
