Overall, this development should perhaps remind us of 2 principles: 1) comics are a visual medium and visual style can radically alter the storytelling. 2) comics production can be a bit of a meat-grinder, and time constraints on artists can likewise impact the storytelling. 9/9

Today's the 6 year anniversary of Ori and the Blind Forest. A beautiful platformer that did an amazing job at 'show, don't tell' storytelling.I rarely like platformers but this was a great experience. One of the best prologues I've come across in a game too that made me emotional

Well, my takeaway is that 2D animation is just as valuable as 3D. Both mediums are really good for storytelling. As for people liking 3D more than 2D because it's more believable and it's comes so far to the point it emulate 2D animation really well.
