What I've noticed when I do backgrounds, I tend to base it off of either: the characters most prominent colour, or the lighting/palette
Like, if the character and the lighting is both warm I choose whatever it vaguely mirrors on the colour wheel for the bg

Thanks, I think the appeal of MGS bosses is completed by characters with strong personalities and backgrounds, voiced by great actors.

This is also why I feel that the Portable Ops bosses (FOX units) are better than the MGS4~MGSV:TPP bosses.
